Just a Few Things

Dave

I'm a dad to 3 very different (from each other not in an odd way) boys and a little princess that has everyone wrapped around her finger. Cole is a sophomore in college majoring in physics and environmental science and minoring in math and religion. Quite the combination....especially since he wants to work in the mission field with renewable energy and clean water. Luke is senior and would play video games all day if you let him (I'd join him too if mom would let us), is a great soccer player and doesn't want you to know he is actually smarter than he lets on. Zack is a middle schooler through and through and is our resident goofball and is always being silly and thinks nothing is fair, has quite the dramatic flair and is a really good kid despite being at that annoying little brother stage. Elliana is our answered prayer. Which is what her name means; God has answered. She perfectly completes our family with her sweet orneriness and gigantic running hugs. I'm married to my high school sweetheart Michelle. She is amazing and not just because she has put up with me for so long but because she is a great mom and is willing to live out her faith as an example to our children and everyone she comes in contact with. As for me and my house we serve the Lord and I follow the Cubs, Eagles, Cyclones, Penguins, Bulls and Lions (the purple ones in Orlando not the losers in Detroit)...I know it's an odd collection but there is a story behind them all. We are truly a soccer family and the boys all have their favorite soccer teams but we all root root root for the Cubbies and fly with the Eagles. We are a Disney family through and through. When we aren't at Disney World we are wishing we were and planning our next family vacation to the place that we all love. I enjoy taking my kids fishing & camping (notice I said kids) when we find time but between work, roasting & drinking coffee, church and it's various activities and coaching multiple soccer teams in both the spring and fall there isn't much of that time stuff left. Well that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Oh and that picture above is of me and Bertha...she's my personal Moby Dick. I've been chasing her for years after I let her go; trying to break the state record since she was oh so close the last time I caught her.
